Do you own a classic car or motorcycle? As an illustrator and classic car enthusiast, I would love to immortalize your proud possession with a unique illustration. The illustration is printed on Dibond, a sheet material with a high-quality appearance. You will receive a beautifully finished reproduction that you can hang immediately with the included hanging system. This way, you can admire your classic not only in your garage but also on the wall at home.
Each drawing is unique and is created from images of the owner of the classic car. It is really your classic car that is being drawn. In the right colors and with the right characteristics. You deliver a good, sharp photo of your classic car from the angle that you like best. This is how your car will be illustrated.
Illustration technique
All illustrations are drawn by hand in the 'Ligne claire' style. This style is characterized by drawing surfaces with sharp, black contour lines that are filled in with flat colors. Varying with tints suggests depth and shine, not by using gradients or hatches.

Print on Dibond
The illustration of your classic car is printed on Dibond, a high-quality material consisting of two thin layers of aluminum with a layer of plastic in between. The use of two layers of aluminum ensures that the panel will never warp. The print is finished with a matte laminate for extra protection. This ensures that your reproduction will remain a beautiful artwork for many years.
By default, every printed illustration is delivered with two adhesive hanging brackets, allowing you to hang it up immediately after delivery. Your illustration is also carefully packed to prevent any unpleasant surprises upon delivery.

Your classic car is exclusively drawn for you by hand and printed. A fixed price is charged for the illustration. For printing your illustration, you can choose from three sizes/price options.

What is the delivery time for an illustration?
The delivery time is on average two weeks, from the time of ordering to delivery of the illustration to your address (The Netherlands).
Can I also reorder my illustration and what are the costs?
llustrations can always be reordered. Send me an email with your request (bas@loket-1.nl) and I will let you know what the costs are.
What exactly do I get when I order an illustration?
You will receive a unique illustration of your classic car, hand drawn especially for you and printed on museum quality fine art paper, glued on Dibond. You can choose from three sizes: medium (60 x 40 cm), large (75 x 50 cm) or extra large (105 x 70 cm). All prints come with a hanging system. A different format is possible in consultation.
Will my illustration also be sold to others?
No. Your illustration is unique and made just for you. Your illustration can be included in my portfolio as an example illustration. If you object to this, you can let me know in writing.
